1. How do adjust the time for cities which use Daylight Savings Time?
From the 'Options/Daylight Savings Time...' menu item, click this menu item if there is no checkmark next to the menu item and if your location uses Daylight Savings Time. If this menu item has a checkmark next to it and your location does not use Daylight Savings Time, click the menu item to remove the checkmark. While connected to the internet, select the 'Internet Zone Tab'. Click on one of the atomic clocks listed. Wait until the connection has been made. The corrected time will be displayed on the lower portion of the tab. All time zones will be adjusted accordingly."
2. How do I use the atomic clock when I don't have an internet connection?
If your phone line is connection to your computer terminal, you can dial a preset atomic clock using the auto dial. Go to the 'File/Dial Atomic Clock' menu item and WorldTime and your system time will be set automatically.
3. How do I find the time for a certain city I am looking for?
Select the time zone for that city and the time for the city will be displayed. To add the city to the time zone, select the 'Edit/Location Setup/Add' menu item and the 'Add Location' form will appear. Fill in the form and the new city will be automatically added to the list.
4. Why does "The time zone setup is not available!" message appear?
The 'timedate.cpl' file may not be located on your system. Use the 'Find' function from the Windows start menu to locate this file, then copy it to your Windows/System folder, or if using WindowsNT, copy the file to the Windows/System32 folder.
5. Why does "The regional setup is not available!" message appear?
The 'intl.cpl' file may not be located on your system. Use the 'Find' function from the Windows start menu to locate this file, then copy it to your Windows/System folder, or if using WindowsNT, copy the file to the Windows/System32 folder.
6. What should I do if I get an error message?
These type of errors could be due to many different problems. If the errors start soon after installing new software, there could be a conflict or corrupt information in your registry. We suggest you obtain the free copy of 'regcln41.exe' (or the latest version) from Microsoft, which is intended to fix any registry problems, including corrupted and unused data.
